Miami Wahoo Fishing
Miami Wahoo Fishing is one of the most desired game fish to catch and eat when fishing in Miami!
These delicious predators travel up to 80 mph. They are common in the Bahamas during the season, which begins in October and runs through February. Miami also holds nice-sized Wahoos, which are usually caught trolling or on a kite, similar to sail fishing.
Bait: Live Blue Runners, Ballyhoo, and trolling lures. Planers are also used to drop the bait below the surface.
DESCRIPTION OF WHOO FISH
The elongated body and the iridescent blue back are giveaways, while the sides have a pattern of irregular vertical blue bars silvery.
As the fish travels to different depths, the colors fade. Most people consider the teeth of the Wahoo razors, and they also have a large mouth to grip all prayers. Both the lower and upper jaws are sharper than those of Spanish Mackerel or Kingfish.
The Wohoo species has been documented to be up to eight feet long and weigh 180 pounds.
They are the fastest fish in the Ocean and grow faster than most fish in the Ocean.
Wahoos are related to Atlantic King Mackerel and Spanish Mackerel. When its mouth is closed, a fold of skin covers the mandible.
The teeth of King Mackerel are similar but shorter than those of Wahoo, and they are also more closely set together.
